Life is filled with questions.  Many people are asking questions like: Is God real?  Who is Jesus?  What does it mean to be a follower of Jesus?  Does my life have purpose?  How can I know the plan that is best for me?  Thankfully, God has a plan for your life and an answer to all of life’s questions.  His plan can be summed up in three simple words: Come, Grow, and Go.  These are three steps every person should take in their discovery of God and His wonderful plan for their lives.

Our goal is to help you know what your next step should be toward spiritual maturity.  So, we use these three words to describe the process of growing in spiritual maturity as a follower of Jesus.

Come

The first step is for people to come. Come to Jesus and His church. It is all about connection. We believe the greatest need in every person’s life is to connect with Jesus and His local church. One of our great passions is introducing people to the Lord Jesus and seeing them experience His love and restoration in their lives. We would love the opportunity to introduce you to Jesus Christ.

For many the weekend worship service is their first step in connecting to Jesus and His people. At Red Lane we encourage authenticity, so there is no need to pretend or be someone you are not. Come as you, and dress as you please. You will find here a family who will love, encourage, and challenge you to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus.

Grow

The next step in the discipleship process is spiritual growth. Grow in faith and fellowship. It’s okay to not be okay, but it is not okay to stay that way. At Red Lane, spiritual growth is expected because the Bible commands it. Romans 12 calls believers to be transformed by the renewing of their minds. We believe life transformation happens best in the context of small groups. Once a person connects with Christ and His church, the next logical step is to connect with a small group of believers in the context of biblical community. It is in this setting where believers will develop relationships whereby they will learn God’s Word and grow together in obedience to it.

Go

The last step in the discipleship process is to go. Go to our neighbors and the nations. We want our members to reach out and serve one another in the church and others outside of the church. We desire to be so relevant and tangible in our service that if Red Lane ceased to exist, the most ardent critic of Christianity would be silenced. This is a great summation of what it means to reach out and serve one another. Whether in our own backyards, in the local community, or serving alongside one of our international partners, we strive to reach out, serve, and make a difference. Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations, so we go, using our spiritual giftedness to be a blessing in the church, to our neighbors and to the nations.
